Details
[Edit]It's probably safe to say the 39 Steps' biggest moment was their appearance in the club scene in Woody Allen's movie Hannah and Her Sisters, playing their cult hit "Slip Into the Crowd" from the album of the same name. How do you follow up something like that? If you're 39 Steps, you get yourself signed to Joan Jett's Blackheart label and crank out an album of good, solid rock & roll. It's not nearly so memorable as that wonderful film moment, but it's a good listen, especially on the tracks that Chris Stein produces.
