[Edit]All That Jazz presented themselves with quite a challenge on this project, and unfortunately they come up short. The challenge was to breathe new life into several already over-performed jazz and pop classics, including "Summertime," "Take the A Train," and "Georgia on My Mind." In fact, their funked-up version of "God Bless the Child" is a disaster; however, their arrangement of "A Night in Tunisia" is a pleasurable listening experience, as is "A Remark You Made," originally recorded by Weather Report. Nevertheless, this release is evidence that All That Jazz is not "all that."
