[Edit]Budhaditya Mukherjee studied with his father, Bimalendu Mukherjee of the Imdadkhani gharana. There is relatively little biographical information available on him. This album features a 45-minute rendition of "Raga Kalawati" and a 23-minute rendition of "Misra Khamaj." No session details are provided apart from to state that it is a "new recording" — an instant obsolescence also beloved of EMI India's marketing. Enayet Hossain, the grandson of Kader Buksh of Murshidabad, plays tabla.
