[Edit]This collector's LP features Charlie Barnet's Orchestra on a trio of radio airchecks. Three strong instrumentals ("The Right Idea," "Flying Home" and "Ring Dem Bells") date from 1940 while the remainder (which includes some vocals from Kay Starr, Peanuts Holland, Ginny Powell and Phil Barton) are taken from two separate occasions in 1945, one broadcast of which is heard complete. Not as significant as Barnet's studio recordings, this LP can easily be enjoyed by his fans.
