[Edit]This long out-of-print double LP (which lacks any liner notes) is not really "the best" of Charlie Barnet's recordings but some of his better ones for Decca. "Skyliner," "Drop Me Off in Harlem," and "The Great Lie" are among the highpoints. Most of this fine swing music has since been reissued on CD.
