Details
[Edit]For the opening track on their debut record, Fandango talk of rock & roll dreams coming true and achieving the ultimate rock & roll status: becoming a headliner on their own tour. From there, the quartet delivers another nine straight-ahead, no-frills rock & roll numbers that have much in common with their arena rock contemporaries (Toto and Boston are two that immediately come to mind), with a dash of southern California rock thrown in for good measure. Their attention to detail and polished sound is on par with either of the aforementioned bands and the passion is inarguably there, but there are moments when Fandango lack the charisma to take these songs to a higher level worthy of a place atop the prestigious arena rock mantle.
