[Edit]Dyke And The Blazers were one of the great uptempo and dance/funk R&B bands; they weren't much for harmonizing or doing slow, romantic ballads, but on such songs as "Funky Broadway" or "We Got More Soul" they could strut and wail right alongside Archie Bell And The Drells. This was first-rate, driving soul and R&B.
