[Edit]An ambitious, far-reaching mid-'80s session by drummer and percussionist Gerry Hemingway that features Don Byron playing a variety of saxophones in the period before he decided to concentrate on clarinet. Hemingway uses an unorthodox trombone/cello pairing instead of a pianist and buttresses each composition with sympathetic, careful rhythms.
