Through tunes like Coltrane's "Satellite" and Sonny Rollins' "Pent Up House," Reuckert showcases his considerable talent, holding unorthodox compositional structures together with compelling percussion. With fine support from Hayden Chisholm on alto sax and Ben Monder on guitar, as well as a cast of other fine players, Reuckert announces his arrival with conviction and sets the stage for good things to come.
