[Edit]This double-disc set features the late saxophonist and composer Joe Henderson in a variety of settings from quartet to big band, playing originals, standards, and even Latin pop tunes. Some of the players on these sides include Dave Holland, John Scofield, Oscar Castro-Neves, Conrad Herwig, Michael Mossman, Jon Faddis, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Chaka Khan, and conductors like Slide Hampton and Tommy Flanagan. This is a solid and very tasteful view of the great one near the end of his life. He went out playing like a champ.
