[Edit]Lil Wayne grew up in the public eye, starting to rap and record songs with Cash Money at age nine. With the release of his 2004 game-changing album Tha Carter, he cultivated a reputation as a solo trendsetter and one of the most successful rappers on the charts. I Am Not a Human Being II finds Wayne as scatological, iconoclastic, and brilliant as ever over a carefully curated suite of resonant, polished tracks. A sweeping flourish of piano starts “Ianahb” as Wayne sprinkles the cut with Green Day references.
