[Edit]Lori Andrews, one of jazz's top harp players, often gets quite funky on this set which is co-led by bassist Bart Samolis who contributed all of the originals. Joined on various tracks by a variety of Los Angeles-based musicians (including altoist Eric Marienthal on two numbers), Andrews' electric harp is usually in the lead as she shows how surprisingly flexible her heavenly instrument can be. This set is a good example of her playing.
