Motorhead is the Ol' Faithful of loud, demanding heavy metal and hard rock. No matter the lineup, as long as Lemmy Kilmister is at the mic and exerting full creative control, Motorhead rocks with consistent greatness. This is its sixth live album and features performances from Santiago, New York City, and Manchester, U.K. Drummer Mikkey Dee and guitarist Philip Campbell live up to the Motorhead Seal of Approval and bring out the best in classics such as "Iron Fist," "Ace of Spades," "Killed by Death," and "Overkill." The catalog has grown over the past 30-plus years, and more recent cuts such as "Get Back in Line" and "I Know How To Die" are true to the Motorhead blueprint. Like many other classic bands (The Ramones, AC/DC), Motorhead sticks to what it does best and delivers exactly what it promises. There's no better hard rock band, and you can never have too much of a good thing.
