Details
[Edit]This out-of-print Lp features trombonist Pee Wee Hunt and an unidentified group that includes trumpeter Frank Bruno and clarinetist Rosie McHargue playing a dozen dixieland standards. Hunt is best-known for his humorous singing with Glen Gray's Casa Loma Orchestra in the 1930's and for his fluke cornball hit of "Twelfth Street Rag" in the late 1940's. Actually there is no comedy on this album, just hard-driving dixie that, although somewhat predictable, is reasonably enjoyable.
