[Edit]Ian McLagan was a regular performer at Austin’s Lucky Lounge from 2005 until his untimely passing in December 2014. This typically rollicking set from an April 2013 gig captures the legendary ex-Faces keyboardist diving into a mix of old and new favorites in tandem with Bump Bandmates Jud Newcomb (guitar), Jon Notarthomas (bass), and Conrad Choucroun (drums). From classics like “Cindy Incidentally” to recent compositions like “I’m Hot, You’re Cool” and “Loverman,” McLagan holds forth with an easy virtuosity honed over a half-century of playing with the likes of Rod Stewart and The Rolling Stones.
