Formed in 1969, Jamaican harmony trio the Mighty Diamonds (Donald "Tabby" Shaw, Fitzroy "Bunny" Simpson, Lloyd "Judge" Ferguson) have been remarkably consistent through the years. This rather unassuming set from 1986 was produced by Delroy Wright and features, among others, horn man Dean Fraser and guitarist Dwight Pinkney. Highlights include the smooth title track, "If You Looking for Trouble," the anti-drug "Cartoon Living," and the gorgeous "Fight, Fight, Fight," which shows the amazing harmony work that has made the Mighty Diamonds a household name in Jamaica.
