Details
[Edit]Love Is the Better Way is the first solo recording by Vince Ebo, a former member of the Charlie Peacock band. Since leaving the Peacock band, Ebo has discovered Jesus Christ, and his debut album reflects his newfound faith. Not only has he discovered the Lord, but the singer has abandoned country, venturing into CCM instead. Ebo's fusion of pop, rock, jazz fusion, and R&B on Love is the Better Way makes for an enjoyable, easy listen because of his smooth professionalism. However, too much professional gloss gets the better of him — though the album sounds good, much of it sounds too similar to stand as individual tracks. Even so, the quality of the production and his voice makes Love Is the Better Way a fine CCM debut from a talented singer.
