[Edit]This is the debut recording from Wimme Saari, a Sami jojkker . These indigenous Finnish people are known for their distinctive chanting. Finland's RinneRadio joins Saari and weaves environmental and ambient sounds around his jojks . The result is beautiful, odd and unforgettable. Wimme rasps ancient chants and imitates animal sounds to create a Scandinavian soundscape atlas and history.
