Dennis DeSantis is inspired by several Detroit-based and Detroit-affiliated electronic artists like Aril Brikha, Kenny Larkin, and Maurizio, along with early pioneers like Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk. A producer of evocative house/techno hybrids, DeSantis grew up during the ‘80s in the Detroit suburb or Sterling Heights and eventually relocated to Rochester, NY. He debuted on Germany's k2o label (a subsidiary of Kanzleramt) in 2002 with the Deviant 12", followed it up with the Promotion of Vice 12", and then released the full-length Clock Wise soon after. In addition to his production work, DeSantis is a member of the chamber ensemble Alarm Will Sound.
