Swedish hard rock band Renegade Five made their Top Ten hit album debut in 2009 with Undergrounded Universe. Founded in 2005 in Karlstad, Sweden, the band is comprised of Per Nylin (vocals), Per Lidén (guitar), Harry Kjörsvik (bass), Peter Damin (drums), and Håkan Fredriksson (keyboards). Upon signing a recording deal with the Bonnier Amigo label, Renegade Five made their commercial recording debut in 2007 with the single "Shadows." The song proved fairly successful, reaching number 21 on the Swedish singles chart, and the follow-up release, "Love Will Remain," was even more popular, reaching number 16. Three more singles — "Running in Your Veins," "Darkest Age," and "Save My Soul," the latter two of which were Top 30 hits — were released before Renegade Five made their full-length debut with Undergrounded Universe.
